Entabeni is widely acclaimed as a leader
in the field of environmental and outdoor education and training. We
conduct outdoor learning programmes for school groups of all ages and courses range
from curriculum support (across all learning areas) to leadership training and
group work. Each
course is specifically negotiated around the needs of each client. For a
first-time booking, a senior staff member will visit you to discuss the
programme, your education needs and expected outcomes for your course course.
Due to its spectacular mountain venue
at the Hlatikulu Crane and Wetland
Sanctuary Entabeni offers a wide range of activities and studies. All activities are
hands-on - creating opportunities for learning through experience - and
are processed verbally afterwards to encourage dialogue and reflection .

Staff
The Entabeni Activity Leaders are
guaranteed to be well-trained and enthusiastic. We have permanent staff for
continuity and to build relationships with our clients, and a team of
international Interns brings “fresh blood”, heaps of enthusiasm, and some
unusual accents. Our Interns stay with us for up to a year at a time. For more

click here. All staff members are in possession of current First Aid
certificates and the necessary industry qualifications and training to supervise
activities.

Facilities
Entabeni caters for up to
100 learners and up to 5 accompanying staff in the following:

Dormitory accommodation
with bunk beds for 100 people

& cold water

A 3-bedroomed teachers'
cottage (fully equipped)

100 seat dining hall with
well-equipped kitchen
Our facilities are simple
but well-maintained and clean, in keeping with the natural, farm-like feel.
We are able, with prior notification, to cater for any and all dietary
requirements. Our food is good, healthy, with as few as possible
additives, preservatives and other unhealthy stuff.
